Marketplace Set up hours and other useful information

Here is some very useful information regarding the Marketplace, especially if you are a vendor or artist!

Marketplace Vendor Access Hours

Note: If the room can be opened to set up before 6pm, we will do everything we can to open it. But we can not guarantee to be able to.

**Take down begins at 4pm when the room closes. Tear down of booths should not begin until that time unless prior arrangements have been made. (Packing of overstock is preparation of leaving is allowed.) We ask that all personal/ company items, equipment, etc. be removed from the Marketplace by 8pm on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Your assigned area must in condition to be returned to hotel control. (Exceptions to the allotted time can be made to this with approval of the marketplace department head.)

Vendors/Artists that require power, internet, phone, and Furnishings:

Booth- Power, phone, and internet
Internet, phone lines, and power are provided for a fee by the Coralville Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. The Marriott utilities form must be completed and faxed to the Coralville Marriott at least 2 weeks before the convention to ensure your needs are ready when you arrive. Additional forms will be available at setup at the Marketplace check in table. The Marriott staff will try to fulfill these additional requests in a timely manner before the opening of the room to the public.     mhrs.cidic.events.admin@marriott.com

Booth- additional furnishings
You may bring additional tables/display stands and racks for your booth area as stated above.
Additional booth needs are also available and must be requested and paid for through Spielman’s. Information, phone number, and order forms are available at through the link provided on the Anime Marketplace page on the AnimeIowa website.

Marketplace Sign-Up has closed

The Marketplace sign-up is NOW CLOSED for the 2017 convention year! 

Important Notice: Anyone that has not been accepted at this time are on a waiting list for openings to the room.  Payment for spaces for those who were accepted this past February are due no later than April 15th.  If not paid by then, we will be moving unpaid acceptances to the waiting list and sending out acceptances to replace them.  Information will be sent to both unpaid and newly accepted vendors/artists on or shortly after April 16th.  

For those who we won’t be able to have space for this year – the good news is that we will have double the space in our new Marketplace in the IEC convention center in DesMoines, IA. for the 2018 convention.   Look for more information here in the upcoming months.

Dealers Room Sign-up Pending

Attention merchants, dealers, and artists! Sign-up details for the AnimeIowa 2013 Dealers Room (now known as the Anime Marketplace) is expected to release sometime soon. Precise date is unknown at this time to due to unforeseen delays. More information will be posted to the website once it is available.
