Weiß Schwarz Sealed Tournament
$25 Entry Fee
Bushiroad’s TCG collaboration with your favorite anime and video game franchises returns. Tanto Cuore Tournament
Sun 10 AM-12 PM
Tanto Cuore is a Japanese deck-building card game where each player plays as the Lord of a mansion and hires maids to fill out their house to become the King of Maids! The end goal is simple enough: the player who has the most Victory Points at the end of the game wins! Player’s acquire Victory Points by employing a variety of maids and “Love” cards that allow for different strategies. You can even employ Private Maids that stick around to use their special powers each per turn! Some give you a bonus, or affect your opponents in a negative way. But beware – your opponents can make your maids sick or give them bad habits, affecting your maids in negative ways and decreasing your Victory Points! Prizes TBD.
The year is 2072. The poor have been walled off in to “protection zones” and magic has reawakened in the world. Mega-corporations are in constant struggle for dominance, utilizing professional criminals known as Shadowrunners, disposable assets who never have officially existed. Think you’ve got what it takes to run the shadows? Games run in Shadowrun 4th edition, and pre-generated characters are available.

Werewolves use deceit to disguise themselves and shift the blame on the villagers, getting villagers to turn on each other and lynch each other, trying not to get lynched themselves! Do you have what it takes to save the village, or are you a werewolf?
Want to have some lazy fun and win some prizes? Come by for the 4th year of AI Bingo! Children encouraged and welcome with their own prize pot, along with the adult prize pot! You may join in at the beginning of any round, so don’t worry if you can’t stay for the entire game.
TPK Games presents The Tomb of Carathgax (Pathfinder, 7th Level)
In this old school dungeon crawl – “The Tomb of Caragthax the Reaver” – the players stumble upon the forgotten cairn of a long dead butcher of ages past. Caragthax’s malignance in life has not kept him well in death, and both he and his former companions hungrily await retribution against those who try discovering the secrets sealed away in his tomb and for those who foolishly disturb his millennia of rest. You must cleanse the Tomb of Caragthax of its evils before you are consumed in the process!
Some experience required; 13 years or older, please. Materials will be provided – no need to bring your own.
*This module will start in the NVG room, and then move to the AMV room at 4PM.
Cards Against Humanity Tournament
For those looking for a more adult version of Apples to Apples, this tournament is for you! Choose the white card that best answers the question given on the black card. If your white card is the best, you score. Must be 18 or older to play. Winner gets a copy of the game!
In Dominion, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can “buy” as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end.
Weiß Schwarz Neo-Standard Constructed Tournament
Entry Fee: $5
This tournament will be neo-standard constructed (cards from only one series; example: Fate/Stay Night with Fate/Zero is allowed, but not Fate/Stay Night with Melty Blood).
Rumble in the House
Various Times Throughout Con
Living together in a small house is difficult, and sometimes trouble arises. It’s time for a big rumble in the house! Will you able to beat the other characters out of the house, stay inside, and keep your identity secret? Players get to control 12 different and cute anime-inspired creatures, such as a robot in a tutu and a penguin holding dynamite!
Toc Toc Woodman
Various Times Throughout Con
Toc Toc Woodman is a great Korean dexterity/action game that will also draw some comparisons to Jenga. It is, however, quite dissimilar aside from the fact you are working within the realm of a “tower” of parts. The goal is to remove the bark from a tree while leaving the inner part standing.
Grimoire is a Japanese game in which you are magician with spell books, trying to cast spells to help you or hurt your opponents for an opportunity to collect VP chips and cards that help you advance in the game and give you VP. The magician with the most VP wins!
A long time ago at the Japanese Imperial court, the Chinese Emperor offered a giant panda bear as a symbol of peace to the Japanese Emperor. Since then, the Japanese Emperor has entrusted his court members (the players) with the difficult task of caring for the animal by tending to his bamboo garden. In Takenoko, the players will cultivate land plots, irrigate them, and grow one of the three species of bamboo (Green, Yellow, and Pink) with the help of the Imperial gardener to maintain this bamboo garden. They will have to bear with the immoderate hunger of this sacred animal for the juicy and tender bamboo. The player who manages his land plots best, growing the most bamboo while feeding the delicate appetite of the panda, will win the game.
A Japanese racing and sports competition game using athletes with anime art and special powers. Draft a team from among 25 distinct characters, from the swift Martial Artist and combative Gladiator to the alluring Siren and overpowering Troll, among many others. Race your characters to the finish line for big points!
Saigo no Kane
Battle your friends for power and authority in a Japanese high school. With the help of students of the election committee (and their parents’ money), you will organize events to attract voters. The person with the most support after the fifth turn wins.
In this Japanese drawing party game, players create new television shows, with them taking part in all aspects of a show’s production meetings – drawing, talking and being creative – with the aim of getting their show on prime time. Part of the challenge comes from being presented with two separate concepts drawn from separate card decks – for example, a liquid creature and a fad that appeals to kids – and figuring out how to merge these concepts creatively into a single creation.
Sat 10 AM-11AM
It is 1926, and the museum’s extensive collection of exotic curios and occult artifacts poses a threat to the barriers between our world and the elder evils lurking between dimensions. Gates to the beyond begin to leak open, and terrifying creatures of increasing strength steal through them.
Elder Sign is a fast-paced, cooperative dice game of supernatural intrigue by Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson, the designers of Arkham Horror.
Lupin the 3rd
Lupin the 3rd brings the characters of the decades-old manga series Lupin III, created by Kazuhiko “Monkey Punch” Kato, to the game board. Players take the role of one of five characters from the series, each represented by a colorful miniature:
One of the players will control Inspector Zenigata and be visible on the game board along with his team of police agents. The other players will work together to try together to steal the treasure and escape; these players are visible only when within view of Zenigata and the police, but both sides can use tricks to misdirect the other. What’s more, as in the comic, Fujiko Mine can betray the group to try to escape with the treasure on her own!
Settlers of Catan
Catan is an imaginary unexplored island, and players are explorers and settlers. Settlers must use their resources to develop their island home, building roads and houses to create new towns. But watch out! There’s a robber on the island, and the renegade can show up at any time to steal your valuable resources.
Lords of Waterdeep
Waterdeep, the City of Splendors – the most resplendent jewel in the Forgotten Realms, and a den of political intrigue and shady back-alley dealings. In this Euro-style game based on the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, the players are powerful lords vying for control of this great city. Its treasures and resources are ripe for the taking, and that which cannot be gained through trickery and negotiation must be taken by force!
Sun 11 AM-12 PM
In this game, you are sushi chefs trying to earn the most points by creating as many sushi recipes as you can. Will you be the ultimate sushi chef?
You are a Shadow, a Hunter, or a Neutral. Shadows want to kill the Hunters and vice versa, and Neutrals have their own agenda. No one knows who the other is, so it is up to you to figure out who is on your team and who is your enemy. Anime-inspired artwork gives life to the characters on the cards.
MINDBRIDGE GAME LIBRARY
Open all convention
The Non-Video Gaming room invites you to come in and take a look at all of the wonderful games the Mindbridge Foundation has to offer. If you see one you and your friends want to play, take it to the NVG staff/volunteers, leave your badge, and have fun. Turn the game in when you are done in order to reclaim your badge.
Once you return a game you have checked out and played, you get a piece of candy. Each candy has a letter on it: S, M, or L. Whichever letter you get, you get a prize: Small, Medium, or Large!
From 4PM-10PM on Saturday, the NVG room will shut down to prepare for the Masquerade. Not to worry, though – just head on over to the AMV Room! We will set up a small library and prize pool for you to enjoy during that time.
