A friendly reminder that you only have a month left to pre-register for AnimeIowa 2012 if you haven’t already. After pre-registration closes you will have no choice but to wait in line at the convention and pay the full $60 registration fee. Don’t delay and pre-register online or by mail today!

Cosplay Rules and Sign-up Posted
Rules and online sign-up for the Mainstage Cosplay competition have now been posted. Mainstage Cosplay is a great venue to show off your latest Cosplay masterpiece and compete for Cosplay dominance! For those who wish to show off their Cosplay in a less public manner, there is also the Hall Cosplay competition. For any questions or concerns, be sure to email cosplay@animeiowa.com.

Marriott Room Block is Full
Good grief! It only took three days, but as of this morning…
The AnimeIowa 2012 Room Block at the Coralville Marriott is FULL!
All of the Friday and Saturday night rooms have now been reserved. However, we do still have rooms available at the reduced AnimeIowa room rate for Thursday night and Sunday night. So if you’d like these nights, or if you’d like to ADD Thursday or Sunday to your existing reservation at our reduced rate, now is the best time to do that!

Hotel Room Reservations Begin Monday, April 16 at 10:00 AM
Ready to make your hotel room reservation for AnimeIowa 2012? Our room block officially opens on Monday, April 16 at 10:00 AM! So finalize your roomie plans and set your alarm clock! Historically, we completely fill the Coralville Marriott in just a few days, so we STRONGLY recommend that you make your reservations as soon as possible after the room block opens.

You may also wish to consider the special “extra half-day” option, that allows you to delay your Sunday checkout time until after closing ceremonies (6:00 PM)!

Registration Reminder
A reminder that Pre-Registration for AnimeIowa 2012 ends May 31st, 2012. After that you will have to wait in line to register at the convention and pay full price. There is also the possibility that we will reach our registration cap and have to turn people away. You can register online using Paypal at the Online Registration page.

Are you interested in selling your wares at AnimeIowa 2012? Good news! The contracts, pricing, and policies for obtaining a booth at AnimeIowa 2012 have been posted to the Dealers Sign-up page.
