Thanks for AnimeIowa 2012

The executives and staff would like to thank everyone who came to AnimeIowa 2012!

Attendance was at an all-time high, yet everyone demonstrated what a great bunch of people we have coming to this convention.  More than one person commented on the maturity and honesty of the attendees and we continue to be both amazed and proud of you all.

This was definitely a year of transition for us as we implemented a new management structure.  We definitely learned a lot this year and we cannot thank you enough for bearing with us.  We want this be a convention for the people, and your comments are all being reviewed and will be very helpful as we look for areas to improve.  If you haven’t done so already, please take a few moments and fill out an online feedback form or comment on the feedback sections of our forum.  You will most assuredly be heard, so be honest and respectful.

It is with great confidence that we say that next year will be even better!  We’re already working on finding new guests, beefing up programming, and finding ways to make the whole convention run smoother. Look for information on the forums as we identify improvements and clarify policies, and remember to give us feedback!

Thank you all again for attending and we hope to see you all back next year!

Art Show Results

AnimeIowa would like to thank every artist who submitted their artwork into the Art Exhibition Show this year. We know that there were a few bumps along the way getting information out to everyone before the Convention this year. We apologize for that and hope to have things smoothed out and ready for next year’s Anime Iowa Art Exhibition Show.

“What’s this, there is a show again next year???”

Yes there will be a show next year, so start thinking of what art pieces you would like to submit ^_^

Pre-Con Reminder

Greetings everyone! I know you are all excited for AnimeIowa tomorrow. Right now, many of our Staff and Volunteers are working hard to setup the convention. Because everyone is now busy with the convention it is unlikely you will be able to communicate with the staff through email or the forums. If you have pertinent last minute concerns for the staff you may have to contact the convention Bridge directly or inquire to the Info Desk. Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
