Art Show

General information for everyone

Artists –

The Art Show is located on the 2nd floor in the Clark meeting room.

  • Hours open to Attendees
    • Friday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
    • Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Sunday 10:00 AM to Noon
    • Purchased art works must be picked up by Noon.
  • Bidding on Art works
    • All artworks entered into the silent auction will have a tag for bidding.
    • The tag will show three prices.
      • The starting price for bidding. – Listed as Min Bid. No bids below this price will be considered a valid bid.
      • The buy it now price – Listed as BIN only available if you are the first bidder on the piece.
        (If someone else has a bid before you then the piece is no longer available for the “buy it now” option. The artwork will stay on display in the Art show until Sunday noon.)
      • The Sunday sale price. Price an artwork that has not previously been purchased via BIN or bidding can be sold on Sunday. Artworks will sell first come first serve on Sunday only. No bidding required. Bring the artwork up to the Art Show desk and purchase it.
    • There will be a section of the bidding tag to register your bid. – Enter your badge # and bid amount (or buy it now BIN)
    • Not all artworks on display will be for silent auction. – If the tag is labeled NFS it is not for sale. No bids will be accepted.
    • Bidding is over at 6:00 PM on Saturday.
  • Payment of purchases
    • If an attendee uses the buy it now option to bid on and buy an art work.
      • The person should mark the bid tag with their badge # and BIN (buy it now) on the space for the bid.
      • Proceed to the Art Show desk and pay for your purchase by cash, check, or Card. – After payment the piece will be marked as sold.
    • Bidders will want to check on their bids to see if anyone has outbid them during the course of the convention. If you find a higher bid on the work you can:
      • 1 Enter a new higher bid of at least $1.00 or higher then the bid on it.
      • 2 Decide not to bid any higher on the art work.
    • The bidder with the highest bid on the art work at 6:00 PM on Saturday is the purchaser of the art work.
    • Pickup up is between 10:00 AM and Noon on Sunday.
    • Any art works that have a Sunday sale price listed on the tag that have not been sold via buy It now or by highest bid can be purchased first come on Sunday of the convention.
    • Bidding on an item (artwork) is a binding contract, if you place a bid you are expected to pay for it should you win the item.

Above all Please be respectful of the art works. Do not touch them. And please no messing around in the room.
If you break or damage an art work because of not acting appropriately in the room, you will be buying it.
